A virtual roundtable discussion session on Return to School (RTS) Preparedness, Readiness & Best Practices was organised on 4 June 2020 for Committee members to address some of the frequently asked questions from schools on considerations towards reopening and practical approaches during the COVID-19 crisis with a focus on health and safety measures for their students, teachers & school personnel.
The session was facilitated by medical experts – Dr David Teo, Regional Medical Director, Asia and Dr Chan Yanjun, Medical Director Malaysia from International SOS, a fellow member of the BMCC. The experts shared insights on preparations before and upon reopening of schools including best practices among schools in Asia. The roundtable was aimed to assist participants in their preparation process for restarting schools following the guidelines issues by MoE.
