Net Zero Exchange Conference & Evening Networking Reception
Net Zero and the Green economy are pillars of the Northern Ireland economic development strategy, and as such Northern Ireland has emerged as the United Kingdom’s leading region in the adoption of new strategies and innovative technologies in the areas of green hydrogen production & infrastructure and decarbonization of the grid and industry. This has added to the region’s traditional strengths in sustainable water management, onshore and offshore wind, electrification of heat, low carbon retrofitting and green & advanced transport.
Invest Northern Ireland is the region’s domestic and international economic development agency, and we are pleased to announce that ten companies and eight authorities, agencies and research centres from Northern Ireland are visiting Malaysia (and Singapore) to share and exchange ideas with the goal to foster connections and form partnerships in the field of net-zero technologies, particularly focusing on sustainable water management, decarbonisation, hydrogen, and alternative fuels.
