CRICKET TOURNAMENT & FAMILY FUN DAY

In build up to an Ashes summer and as part of the launch of a new cricket club in KL, the British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce is delighted to invite our members to participate, attend and enjoy a great day out for all the family.

On Saturday June 6^th The Garden International School in Mont Kiara is hosting an all-day event featuring a Junior and Senior 8-a-side cricket tournament and entertainment for all ages. What’s more they are looking for people to get involved. The tournament’s organiser qualified cricket coach Ben Prentice is looking for teams and individual players as well plenty of supporters on the day.

The day will start at 10am and the adult and junior tournaments will run side by side with short matches lasting throughout the day. Both competitions will feature eight teams of eight players (maximum 10 per squad) playing in a knock-out style tournament for their respective trophies.

Do not fear if your team happens to be knocked out early, there is more to the day than simply the cricket with food, drinks, music and entertainment being available throughout the day. Plenty for all the family to enjoy.

Participation and admission is free and the emphasis is firmly on fun so whether you are a Freddy Flintoff or a cricketing novice you are very welcome to join. All equipment will be provided on the day and ‘Incrediballs’ will be used so no padding will
be necessary.
