She further believes that a foundation built on performance and productivity will create sustainability. This means leveraging diversity, creating inclusion, developing an agile workforce that is empowered, creative and life-long learners are essential. She received her Ph.D. in Values-Driven Leadership from Benedictine University and holds a MA in Organizational Development from Webster University.

 

 

About Deepa Vadovelu:

As the Human Resource Manager of Apex Point Sdn Bhd, Deepa is responsible for total Human Resource Management in terms of determining and setting up of HR objectives and policies, developing the long term and short term strategies and programs for the company especially in addressing talent recruitment, retention and engaging a diversified workforce as well as ensuring effective management of compensation. She is also responsible to develop, formulate and review administration initiatives and compliance to Malaysian legal legislation. Besides that, she is also facilitating the expatriate section of the company from application of company ESD registration right up to getting the expatriate into the country legally. In addition to this, Deepa also gives soft skill trainings to corporate clients.

Deepa holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Management from USM, Penang and a Professional Certification of Human Resource Management from Australian HR Institute (AHRI).
