BMCC Outreach in the Southern Region – JOHOR
In 2017, the BMCC expanded beyond Kuala Lumpur by establishing a presence in Johor, a move that marked a significant milestone for the chamber. Johor, strategically located in the Southern Region of Malaysia, serves as a vital hub for trade and commerce, contributing to economic growth and fostering cross-border connections.
The key objective of BMCC’s outreach into Johor is to connect and establish healthy business relationships with like-minded organisations as well as to discover how the BMCC can strengthen British-Malaysia ties within the Southern Region. The BMCC looks to establish a relevant presence to facilitate bilateral-trade and investment in such sectors by addressing members’ value proposition and business matchmaking.
We solidified our position within in the Southern Region with the support of University of Reading Malaysia. This has strengthened our presence within the EduCity – an innovative educational hub that brings together a diverse array of reputable institutions.
Member Engagements In Johor
BMP Technologies Malaysia Sdn Bhd
The BMCC visited BMP Technologies Malaysia Sdn Bhd at their factory in Kulai. Jonas Noecker, Managing Director, welcomed the team. We were delighted to learn of BMP’s growth in recent years. Given their longstanding membership, we are honoured to have supported them and will continue to do so. As a key supplier to Dyson, BMP won the Dyson Supplier Award for Quality, a sterling achievement BMP has made two years in a row, demonstrating its solid performance. BMCC is very proud and gives its heartiest congratulations to BMP for this achievement.
