Events Intern

Step into the dynamic world of events. We’re looking for an organised and driven intern to support the planning and execution of high-impact business events, from networking sessions to flagship conferences.

What You’ll Be Doing:

This is a supporting role reports directly to Event Managers on overall planning and execution of members related programmes & activities.
  • Manage participant’s registration through event management systems, including sending registration confirmations and reminders, and maintaining registration lists.
  • Follow up on outstanding event payments, sending reminders and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Offer on-site event management support, including registration assistance and registration counter setup.
  • Manage and oversee all event operations collateral and inventories.
  • Provide comprehensive support throughout all stages of event planning and execution.
  • To source for event venue & suppliers.
  • To coordinate and manage members enquiries.
  • To coordinate and schedule appointments, including meetings and events for BMCC committees and networks.
  • Keep a log on member enquires, activities, monitor progress and report on status on weekly basis.
  • Deliver first-class member support and customer service through contact by phone, email, mail and in person, ensuring communication with members is accurate all the time, appropriate and professional.
  • Document contacts in BMCC CRM
  • Flexible to undertake new assignments and support other teams on Chambers projects and
Other Responsibilities
  • A degree in any related field or equivalent qualifications, with experience in similar role would be an advantage.
  • Proficient computer skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication, organisational skills.
  • Able to multi-task, and to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team player and able to work independently.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work.
