Events & Partnerships Intern

The Events & Partnerships Intern will support the planning and delivery of the Chamber’s programmes, industry events, and strategic partnerships. Reporting directly to the Events & Partnership team, this role offers hands-on exposure to event management, member engagement, and partnership development within an international business network.

 

The intern will work closely with the team to coordinate events, engage with member companies, and support the management of strategic partnerships and flagship initiatives such as awards programmes and networking events.

 

This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience working with senior business leaders, multinational companies, and government stakeholders.

 

Events Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of Chamber events, including forums, networking sessions, and flagship programmes.
  • Manage event registrations, confirmations, reminders, and maintain accurate participant lists.
  • Provide on-site event support including registration management and guest coordination.
  • Assist with venue sourcing, supplier coordination, and preparation of event materials.
  • Track event attendance, payments, and support post-event reporting and follow-ups.
  • Clean and maintain the contact database on the Chamber’s CRM system, Glue Up, by verifying records, removing duplicates, and ensuring information is accurate.

 

Partnerships Responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting partnership agreements and event-related contracts.
  • Liaise with member companies regarding event participation, awards entries, and table purchases.
  • Support member engagement and maintain accurate records in the Chamber CRM system.
  • Attend meetings with member companies and senior executives where required.
  • Prepare meeting notes, summaries, and follow-up actions.
  • Support the development of new events and initiatives, with opportunities to lead smaller programmes.

 

Candidate Profile

  • Degree or diploma in Event Management, Business, Communications, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, reliable, and comfortable engaging with professionals.
  • A team player who can also work independently.
