The BMCC’s 12th Annual Charity Rugby Dinner saw the likes of David “Campo” Campese, Kyran Bracken and Craig Chalmers grace the stage of a sold out ballroom at Shangri-La Hotel KL.
The three retired professional rugby players from Australia, England and Scotland respectively mesmerised the crowd to both peals of laughter and wonderment with stories of their life and experiences playing at the highest stage of world rugby.
400 guests attended, made up of BMCC members and rugby enthusiasts turning up to dine with the rugby veterans. Justin “Sambo” Sampson, returned for the straight 12th year to be MC and auctioneer of the dinner.
This year, the proceeds raised from the raffles and auctions will be donated to the National Cancer Society of Malaysia which is commemorating its 50th Anniversary since its inception in 1966.
