BMCC – MDEC Premier Luncheon with Datuk Yasmin

The BMCC concluded the year in emphatic fashion as we hosted a Premier Luncheon with MDEC’s visionary CEO Datuk Yasmin. An internationally acclaimed speaker, Datuk Yasmin delivered a presentation both inspirational and thought-provoking to all in attendance as she shared how MDEC has been Championing Malaysia’s Digital Economy. She touched on topics such as the unmistakable growing interest in Artificial Intelligence and how one day financial technology will be heavily reliant on Ai, just as socio-political aspects will be. She also spoke of MDEC’s role and affiliation with Jack Ma and Alibaba in creating the Digital Free Trade Zone (DFTZ), the first of its kind outside of China. One thing’s for certain, MDEC has been leading Malaysia’s digital frontier and continues to do so in fine fettle as we head towards establishing our nation as the regional hub for tech start-ups and e-commerce.
