Rounding up a event-packed week for the Chamber, the BMCC continued its Breakfast Talk Series with the 3rd edition on the 18th of May, this time featuring Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad. Mr Wan Suhaimie, Head Economic Unit Research Department represented the Bank and provided an insightful talk and presentation on the Malaysian Economic Outlook.
Around 20 BMCC members attended the event hosted at the cosy and trendy office space of The Co @ The Row along Jalan Doraisamy. Aurelia Silva, BMCC Executive Director opened the morning session with a welcoming speech, followed by a brief introduction by Celine Chan, Managing Director of TMG-Group. Mr. Wan Suhaimie then commenced his talk with the support of a detailed and comprehensive slide presentation covering the historic and forecasted projections of Malaysia’s economy on the areas agriculture and oil, synchronous global upturn & risks, the growing asset bubble risk amidst the Trump’s economic policies, the gaining strength of Eurozone as well as the stability of the Ringgit.
