With an illustrious career spanning three decades thus far, Datuk Yasmin Mahmood started her career as an analyst programmer before working her way up to CEO and senior positions within Malaysia of global brands such as Dell, HP and Microsoft.

The older generation would remember her for the “Malaysianising Microsoft” vision when she aligned the strengths of what was then the world’s most powerful software company with Malaysia’s national development agenda.

In September 2014, she accepted the national calling of becoming CEO of MDEC. It was her life’s purpose to serve the nation by making a difference and utilising her expertise and experience for the betterment of Malaysia.
