ENHANCING BUSINESS INTEGRITY IN MALAYSIA WITH BSI AND CBI
Bribery is one of the world’s most destructive and challenging issues. With over US$ 1 trillion paid in bribes each year* , the consequences are catastrophic, reducing quality of life and business, increasing poverty and eroding public trust.
Yet despite efforts on national and international levels to tackle bribery, it remains a significant issue. Recognizing this, ISO has developed a new ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management System Standard to help organisations fight bribery and promote an ethical business culture.
To better understand this standard and its guidelines for implementation, the BMCC is organising a half-day talk and networking event in collaboration with the British Standards Institution (BSI) Malaysia and the Coalition for Business Integrity Berhad (CBI).
The talk will feature expert explanation and advice from Azrul Azwar B. Wan Azizan (Compliance & Risk Manager / Registered Lead Auditor) of BSI and Mark Chay, Executive Director of CBI.
