Reigate Grammar School Kuala Lumpur Celebrates Its Official Opening

Kajang, 18 November 2025 – Reigate Grammar School Kuala Lumpur (RGSKL) officially opened its purpose-built campus in Kajang 2, developed in partnership with the Beaconhouse Group. The launch marks the expansion of Reigate Grammar School’s 350-year tradition of British education into Malaysia.
The inauguration brought together distinguished guests, including senior representatives from the Ministry of Education Malaysia Dr. Sarifah Norazah, Deputy Director of Private Education, Ministry of Education, the British High Commission, the Pakistan High Commission, and the British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce. Leadership from Beaconhouse Malaysia, Beaconhouse Pakistan, and Reigate Grammar School International** also attended.
Senior leaders present included Mr. Kasim Kasuri, Chief Executive Officer of Beaconhouse; Mr. Nassir Kasuri, Executive Director of Beaconhouse; Ali Khan, Chief Operating Officer of the Beaconhouse Group; Basit Humayun Regional Director Beaconhouse and Shaun Fenton OBE, Executive Head of the Reigate Grammar School Group.
Principal Philip Bailey stated:

RGSKL offers a British curriculum from Early Years to A Levels for more than 400 students representing 28 nationalities, with capacity for 1,250. The Kajang 2 campus includes science laboratories, a two-floor library, an astro turf, a swimming pool, and specialist creative spaces. A boarding facility for 250 students is scheduled to open in 2027.
