The BMCC is proud to have attended as a partner at the official launch of the Government-Industry Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) Coordination Body (GITC). In conjunction with the Launching Ceremony of the Polytechnic Transformation Roadmap 2023-2030, the GITC also established a Memorandum of Understanding with 56 associations and chambers of commerce representing over 10,000 companies across various economic sectors. This milestone aims to foster future talent needs and drive the industry-led TVET empowerment agenda.
Chairman of the GITC and President of the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM), Tan Sri Dato’ Soh Thian Lai, expresses that the non-profit private sector organisation looks forward to forging collaborative initiatives with more stakeholders in ensuring that the future workforce of Malaysia is able to acquire cutting edge skills to embrace challenges and opportunities brought about by the rapidly evolving global economy with new and emerging cutting-edge technologies and innovation.
We share this sentiment and look forward to the GITC achieving its vision for Malaysian industries to be globally competitive and prioritise the needs of future talent. The BMCC also looks forward to how this partnership will benefit the members of our Talent Network.
