We recently held a Teh Tarik Networking Session co-organised with JPA and INTAN, marking the official launch of the Chamber’s flagship programme with the Malaysian government, the JPA-BMCC Management Development Programme.
This year marks the 25th cohort of this programme since its inception in 1983. Themed ‘Fostering Leaders in Holistic Innovation and Smart Development’, we are hosting 15 senior Malaysian government officers, who have backgrounds and expertise in digital and tech, talent development, food security, energy transition, smart cities and climate change.
BMCC wishes all participants the best of luck for their industry attachments and expresses gratitude to our members who are hosting the participants. Also, we thank JPA and INTAN for their collaboration for the third consecutive year, and the British High Commission to Malaysia, for their support.
We extend our thanks to the VIPs for their attendance and support of this programme: David Wallace, acting British High Commissioner to Malaysia, and Richard Colley, Director of Trade and Investment for the British High Commission in Malaysia; Rusli Harun, Deputy Director of the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN); Jamalulail Abu Bakar, Director for Human Capital Development Division in the Public Service Department (JPA), and Jennifer Lopez, CEO of the BMCC.
We also thank the BMCC members who are hosting the government officers: Arup, AstraZeneca, BP, HANDD Business Solutions, Learning Curve Group, Infobip, Marlborough College, YTL Construction, University of Nottingham, Sunway University, and Lancaster University.
