JPA – BMCC Programme Opening Ceremony
The JPA-BMCC Management Development Programme was initially started in 1983 by the former Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamed in fulfillment of the Malaysia Incorporated Policy for the attainment of a competitive, dynamic, robust and resilient economy. In line with Malaysia Incorporated Policy, the JPA-BMCC Management Development Programme also aims at promoting closer rapport between the public and private sectors. The close relationship between the two sectors is vital in establishing a strong unified workforce and achieving national objectives.
The opening ceremony was officiated by YBhg Datin Dr. Rosslina Bt Abdul Mokhtar, Director of Human Capital Development Division in Public Service Department of Malaysia. A total of 9 participants were selected to participate in the 21st JPA-BMCC Management Development Programme, comprising of senior civil servants from various fields within the age group of 40 to 50 years old will be attached to British Companies in Malaysia for a period of 3 months. The programme consists of 3 weeks Business Visit and Attachment to the British Companies in the UK and a week module on Business Management, moderated by University of Nottingham to be conducted in Malaysia.
