Johor Inter-Chamber Networking & Christmas Sundowner on 5 Dec 2025

In Johor on 5 December 2025, we joined the Inter-Chamber Networking & Christmas Sundowner at the Sheraton Johor Bahru. Our thanks to the Malaysia Australia Business Council (MABC) for organising the event and having us as co-organisers.

The gathering drew 85 attendees, including 20 BMCC members from Automation & Control Systems, BMP Technologies, Intermovers, M&N Group of Companies, Melbourne Capital Group, Newcastle University Medicine Malaysia, Robust HPC, Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia, Stanton Chase, Trowers & Hamlins, Turner & Townsend, University of Reading Malaysia, and Vialto Partners.

Our Chairman, Mak Joon Nien, CEO & MD of Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia, also addressed the gathering to greet attendees on behalf of the BMCC. The evening provided an excellent opportunity to mingle with peers from Johor and fellow Chambers, sparking new connections and exploring business opportunities beyond Kuala Lumpur.
