Fluorocarbon is a high-performance material science business. We assist global engineering companies maintain their competitive advantage & develop solutions to their technical challenges. We design and formulate composite polymer materials and coatings to meet specific operating requirements: high-temperature, high-pressure, low-friction etc. We sell semi-finished material and machined components. We plan to bring our high-tech material technology to Malaysia: so we can better service the growing heavy industry and advanced technology industries that are based in the region. Global engineering companies based in region will be happy to be able to secure their advanced materials from us locally in Malaysia with shorter lead times (and not buy from the US/EU). We plan to invest initially $2m+ in new machinery and facilities in Malaysia, and employ initially 25 to 30 people. About half the product manufactured in Malaysia would be sold to China, with the remainder sold to Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia & Australia.
