MOU SIGNING CEREMONY OF SMART TRENDS INTERNATIONAL & NOCN

BMCC Members are cordially invited to attend the formal signing ceremony between Smart Trends international and the UK Awarding organisation, NOCN. This agreement will be witnessed and supported by the Minister of Youth and Sport, YB Syed Saddiq, and by the Deputy British High Commissioner, Mr David Thomas.
Smart Trends International will be represented by Dato’ Dr Emmanuel Benson, Chairman and Group CEO. NOCN (also known as the National Open College Network) will be represented by Managing Director, Graham Hasting-Evans who is visiting Malaysia from the UK.
This agreement will mark an exclusive partnership between NOCN and Smart Trends International to bring Internationally recognised TVET Qualifications and Apprenticeships to the Malaysian market and the wider APAC region. NOCN are also leaders in modern construction apprenticeships, and productivity programmes. Through Smart Trends International, this new thinking and approach will be introduced to Malaysia. This event will also mark the countdown to the launch of Smart Trends International’s online training and recruitment platform, MyTalent Share. This platform is designed to match skills and online training programmes to job vacancies and opportunities in the growing Gig economy. Supporting the drive to upskill and reskill the sectors of the Nation’s workforce. NOCN will be a key partner in this development, their involvement will guarantee the quality of the training programmes offered under their name, and students will benefit from the wide recognition of NOCN UK Qualifications and Standards. The MyTalent Share will also track training completion and success, and progression into employment; a function much needed by the sector.
