BMCC Energy Committee Chairman Azman Nasir – EIC’s Regional Director for Asia Pacific shared insights on Southeast Asia’s energy landscape, while our members led and participated in key panels:
Dr. Leon Rosario (Ricardo PLC) led discussions on decarbonisation, Julian Taylor (University of Strathclyde) on AI in energy & Cross-Border CCS, and Nick Ash (Arup) on Sustainable Aviation Fuel & CCS regulation. Other expert panellists included Bilal Parvaiz (Standard Chartered) on Green Finance, Choong Yen Li (Shell Malaysia) on Gas Development in Borneo, Zharin Zhafrael (Shell Malaysia) on CCS for Net Zero, and Prof. Leong Yuen Loong (Sunway University) on Nature-Based Solutions.
With strong industry participation and support from Standard Chartered, Arup, Informa Markets, and Subsea7, this event reinforced BMCC’s commitment to driving impactful conversations in the energy sector.
