Château Canon Chaigneau cultivates 20.73 hectares on the highest point of the Néac plateau, just 1 km north of the famed Pomerol plateau. Its unique terroir—clay, limestone, and iron deposits—directly connects to Pomerol’s most prestigious areas. As Decanter notes, “The plateau is essentially a continuation of that of Pomerol itself.” Vinified by Thierry Garnaud, former Maître de Chai at Cheval Blanc, the estate crafts wines celebrated for their complexity, richness, and elegance.
