As the season of gratitude approaches, Lemon Garden at Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur invites guests to a heartwarming Thanksgiving celebration that captures the true essence of togetherness, indulgence and the spirit of sharing.

Renowned for its lively ambience and sumptuous spreads, Lemon Garden presents a Thanksgiving Buffet Dinner on 27 November 2025, offering a feast that beautifully marries time-honoured tradition with modern culinary flair. Guests are invited to savour an abundant selection of international flavours from ocean-fresh seafood and fresh Sashimi to aromatic Asian specialities, cold cuts, live pasta stations and festive desserts every dish thoughtfully prepared by the culinary team led by Executive Chef Scott Brands.

“This year, we wanted to celebrate through both classic and locally inspired creations, including a turkey infused with bold Malaysian spices for those who love a touch of heat. All turkeys are specially sourced, sustainably locally grown and halal-certified, ensuring everyone can enjoy the feast. It is a joyful nod to our diverse culinary culture, bringing a sense of home to every table,” says Chef Scott Brands.

The restaurant’s dynamic open-kitchen concept adds to the excitement, creating a dining experience that is as engaging as it is indulgent.

At the carving station, the star of the evening takes the spotlight, a slow-roasted whole Turkey stuffed with truffle and foie gras, its golden skin glistening invitingly under the lights. An exclusive festive recipe by Chef Scott Brands, every slice reveals delicate layers of flavour, complemented by charred Brussels sprouts tossed with smoked beef brisket, roasted cocktail potatoes, and spiced braised red cabbage. The ensemble comes together beautifully with velvety giblet gravy and cranberry chutney, adding a touch of sweetness and warmth to each bite.

The feast continues with imaginative creations that balance creativity and comfort in perfect harmony. Highlights include the festive spiced Macaron, a savoury almond meringue filled with poultry parfait and onion-fig marmalade, and the elegant Surf and Turf Wellington, layering roasted Australian beef tenderloin with succulent lobster mousse, encased in golden puff pastry and finished with a rich Sangiovese reduction. Seafood lovers can relish the grilled Seabass with lemon Beurre Blanc or the baked seafood Thermidor, while festive accompaniments complete this hearty celebration.

No Thanksgiving would be complete without a grand finale of decadent desserts. The Dessert Station is a whimsical celebration of sweetness and artistry, featuring The Train Yule Log Town, a chocolate creation surrounded by mini gingerbread houses, Santa bells, and iced lemon cakes. Classic favourites include the Christmas Wooden Truffle Cake, Chocolate Nutella Yule Log, Stollen, Panettone, and the Classic Fruit Cake. Pastry Chef Fazriza’s signature creations, including Roasted Peach and Apricot Cheesecake, Signature Mont Blanc, Mini Victoria Strawberry Shortcakes, Vanilla Bean Crème Brulée and Santa Hat Passion Fruit Cheesecakes, add festive indulgence. The Hot Dessert Station offers comfort classics such as Croissant Bread and Butter Pudding, Hot Chocolate Pudding, Mince Meat Pie, and Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Frosting, perfect with a cup of tea or freshly brewed coffee.

Taking centre stage is the Halal-certified Slow-Roasted Whole Turkey, brined with apple juice for exquisite tenderness and generously filled with homemade chestnut and raisin stuffing. For those who enjoy a touch of luxury, the Roasted Winter Black Truffle Turkey offers rich, earthy flavours in every bite. Marinated sous vide and stuffed with porcini and foie gras, it is elegantly paired with roasted winter root vegetables, herb-roasted potatoes, and truffle giblet gravy, weighing a hearty 5kg and serving 4–6 guests, a refined take on a timeless classic.

Guests may also indulge in a selection of gourmet roasts, from the locally inspired ‘Meletup’ Turkey, infused with Malaysian spices and served with ghee rice and spicy coconut gravy, to festive favourites such as Roasted Whole Duck, Smoked Honey Soy Chicken, Slow-Roasted Dry-Aged Australian Tomahawk, Mustard Roast GrainFed Beef Sirloin, and Slow-Cooked Australian Lamb Leg. Each dish reflects the artistry of Shangri-La’s culinary team, crafted with care to bring the rich flavours of the season to every table.

Gourmet turkey selections start from RM788 nett, while other roast options are priced from RM288 nett.
