Calling all members! Our annual flagship programme is back!
The BMCC is thrilled to be organising the 25th JPA-BMCC Management Development Programme this year. This programme is specially tailored to provide an opportunity for Government officers at senior levels from different Ministries to gain hands-on experience with the private sector, especially in adopting a digital and sustainability mindset in their approach towards management and operations in their respective organisations.
The JPA-BMCC Management Development Programme, also known as the British Companies Attachment Programme (BCAP), is a collaboration between the chamber and the Public Service Department of Malaysia (JPA), to offer senior-level government officers (Grade 48 – 54) the opportunity to gain experience through a four-week placement in BMCC member companies; 2 weeks in Malaysia and 2 weeks in the UK.
This programme has been a cornerstone in strengthening ties between the public and private sectors since its inception in 1983. Over the past four decades, this initiative has facilitated 24 Management Training Programmes, which have left numerous Government Ministries and Departments changed for the better.
Participating as a host organisation brings a myriad of key benefits, such as gaining the opportunity to influence policy reforms, enhancing relations with the Malaysian Government, participating in knowledge exchange, gaining insights on Government policy and plans, elevating brand visibility, and creating long-term partnerships.
That is why the BMCC is calling for our members who are keen to learn more about the programme to participate in our briefing and Q&A session at our office.
- Date: 31 May 2024 (Friday)
- Time: 10 am – 11.30 am
- Venue: BMCC Office, No.02-B, Menara IQ, Persiaran TRX, Tun Razak Exchange, Kuala Lumpur
