BMCC’s 1st Healthcare Committee Meeting of 2026

BMCC’s Healthcare Committee held its first meeting of the year, bringing members together to address key challenges and opportunities shaping the sector. Discussions centred on strengthening mental health support, preparing for the realities of an ageing population, and ensuring a sustainable healthcare workforce for the long term. Members also explored developments in medical and health insurance, including takaful plans, alongside broader healthcare transformation efforts driven by policy reform, digitalisation and innovation.

The session provided a platform to share best practices, identify sector-wide concerns, and refine the Committee’s advocacy priorities for the year ahead.
