BMCC’s 11th Annual Charity Rugby Dinner
Back for the 11th consecutive year, with over RM1.3 million raised for Malaysian Charities to date, the BMCC Charity Rugby Dinner saw acclaimed rugby stars Brian Moore, Alan Quinlan and Andrew Mehrtens in town to entertain rugby aficionados at this signature BMCC event.
Brian Moore – top former England hooker and now a renowned rugby presenter and pundit for BBC Sport and Talksport. He qualified as a Rugby Football Union referee in February 2010.
Alan Quinlan – former Ireland back-row and lock, who played 27 times for his country. Two-time Heineken Cup winner with Munster and selected to play in two World Cups in 2003 and 2007.
Andrew Mehrtens – top former New Zealand fly-half, selected for the All Blacks in 1995 when he played in the 1995 World Cup.
Since its inception in 2005, renowned rugby legends have continued to whet the appetite of the KL rugby crowd, taking centre stage to help raise funds for Malaysian charities.
The BMCC Charity Rugby Dinner will be supporting UNICEF’s work in Nepal following the two deadly earthquakes that have claimed more than 8,500 lives.
