BMCC Strengthens UK-Malaysia Partnerships during London Tech Week 2025

While in London, the BMCC team also took the opportunity to engage with key partners and stakeholders across government, business, and professional sectors to deepen UK-Malaysia collaboration.

We had productive discussions with Bhavin Shah, Country Director, UK & Europe at Telekom Global, on opportunities in the digital economy, and connected with Zahirul Ishak and Amir Hakim from MIDA London to explore ongoing investment promotion efforts.

Our meeting with Cara Imbrailo, Partner at Charles Russell Speechlys, focused on potential membership and professional engagement with the Malaysian business ecosystem. We also met with Helen Brand OBE, CEO of ACCA, to reaffirm shared priorities in professional development and international standards.

Lastly, we were delighted to connect with Mei Sim Lai OBE, Chair of the British East and Southeast Asian Network, and a long-standing advocate for UK-Asia business and cultural ties.
