On the 8th November 2017, the BMCC hosted its first Premier Luncheon of the year at Hilton Sentral KL. Sponsored by Standard Chartered Bank and in collaboration with EY, the driving topic of the day was the recently tabled Malaysia Budget 2018. Newly appointed CEO of Standard Chartered Malaysia, Abrar Anwar gave an opening address before Yeo Eng Ping, Amarjeet Singh and Bernard Yap from EY provided a panel dialogue and presentation based on EY’s findings and estimations for the coming financial year especially on tax incentives for automation, Industry 4.0, GST reliefs,the Principal Hub and tax risks. Over 60 in attendance turned up for what was reflected as a highly fruitful event.
