The British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (BMCC) donated a cheque totalling RM210,000 to Hospis Malaysia. The money is a start-up fund to enable Hospis Malaysia to deliver training and education support to help implement Malaysia’s recently launched Pediatric Palliative Care Policy.
The sum was raised through a special business luncheon hosted by the BMCC that was graced by Their Royal Highnesses (TRHs) the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge during their maiden visit to Malaysia as part of the Diamond Jubilee Tour of the Asia-Pacific.
