BMCC Meeting with Weir Minerals – Feb 2026

We recently met with Stephen Frendt, APAC Regional Director, and Farah Romaino, Head of HR, from Weir Minerals for a productive discussion on their operations and future direction.

They shared insights into their core business of delivering engineered solutions for the mining and infrastructure sectors, as well as the broader capabilities of The Weir Group. We also learned more about their growing ambitions in the digital and technology space, including data-driven performance optimisation, smart equipment monitoring, and integrated digital platforms that enhance operational efficiency and sustainability for clients.

Looking ahead, we discussed how their Chamber membership can be strategically leveraged in 2026 to further position Weir as a thought leader within the UK-Malaysia business corridor.

We would also like to congratulate Stephen as he completes 20 years with the company. This marks significant milestone and a testament to his leadership and commitment.
