BMCC Hosts BiSEA Regional Meeting

The BMCC was honoured to host the BiSEA (Britain in South East Asia) Regional Meeting 2025 at its office in Menara IQ, Tun Razak Exchange.
The meeting brought together Executive Directors from British Chambers across ASEAN, along with UK Government representatives, to coordinate regional initiatives, exchange updates, and strengthen collaboration across the BiSEA network.
The discussions focused on aligning strategies, ensuring effective follow-up on joint projects, and enhancing communication between Chambers to better support British businesses in the region.
The programme featured an address by Sarah Howard MBE, Chair of the British Chambers of Commerce (UK), on “Britain in ASEAN – The Next Chapter,” exploring the UK’s post-CPTPP trade agenda and the evolving role of Chambers in driving British trade and investment.
Other key sessions covered membership growth, digital transformation, revenue diversification, and joint regional programmes, followed by an interactive strategy workshop that refined BiSEA’s collective value proposition and future direction.
