The BMCC Education (3-18 Years) Committee had a meeting with Puan Noor Akmar Jais @ Mat Jaih, Deputy Director of the Private Education Division, Ministry of Education, and other officers from the division at their office in Putrajaya. Key discussion points included an update on the recognition of the Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) qualification, the issue of school trip permissions with state Education Departments, discussions on a safeguarding programme by a UK security provider, and partnerships with national schools regarding STEM education.
