The heart of the now iconic “I Love Sunway University” landmark was adorned with the colours of the Union Jack in a marked welcome for the British High Commissioner to Malaysia and the BMCC.
A Breakfast Talk on the “Current & Future Trends in the F&B Industry” was the occasion on 24th April at Sunway University, gathering more than 20 attendees at their School of Hospitality. Professor Marcus Stephenson and Dr. Daniel Chong Ka Leong from the school delivered spirited presentations, with Ed Munter, General Manager of JW Marriott KL sharing his life’s passion and journey in the industry.
A special live cooking demonstration ensued as students from Sunway University’s School of Hospitality was joined in the kitchen by British High Commissioner to Malaysia, H.E Vicki Treadell CMG MVO. Also present at the event was David Ng, (BMCC Deputy Chairman), Prof. Graeme Wilkinson (Sunway University Vice-Chancellor), Patrick McVeigh (Sunway University Director of Branding) and Elizabeth Lee (Sunway Group Senior Executive Director), with the latter presenting the High Commissioner a framed embroidered apron as a memento.
