BMCC at UWE Bristol’s 20th Anniversary

The BMCC extends our heartfelt congratulations to our member UWE Bristol on the celebration of their 20th anniversary of transnational education (TNE) partnerships in Malaysia. This significant milestone underscores two decades of impactful collaboration in advancing UK-Malaysia higher education ties.

We were honoured to be part of the commemorative event, “TNE in Malaysia: Partnership, Progress and Preparing for the Future,” which brought together education leaders, policymakers, and industry partners to reflect on the growth of TNE and chart its future.

Our CEO, Jennifer Lopez, joined the panel discussion alongside distinguished speakers to explore key themes including the development and impact of TNE over the past two decades, the evolving needs of students, and the critical role of policy and innovation in strengthening cross-border education. After the session, Jennifer was presented with a token of appreciation by Professor Sir Steve West CBE, Vice-Chancellor, President and Chief Executive Officer of UWE Bristol.
