BMCC at International Construction Week & BuildXpo 2025

The BMCC’s Built Environment Committee proudly took part in International Construction Week (ICW) & the Malaysia International Building and Construction Industry Exhibition (BuildXpo) 2025, held from 28 to 30 October at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC).

The Chamber’s participation highlighted the innovation, expertise, and collaboration of our Built Environment members — HL Design Group, YTL Group, Consort Hardware, Currie & Brown, Knight Frank, One International Group (OIG), and Tony Gee & Partners — with Kian Furniture as our official furniture partner.

The BMCC booth showcased best practices and UK-Malaysia success stories across architecture, engineering, surveying, and design, highlighting the Chamber’s role in fostering cross-border collaboration and industry connections. The booth also earned a Bronze Award for Best Booth Design, recognising its creativity, innovation, and excellence at this year’s exhibition.

The booth also received a special visit from Deputy Works Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Maslan, who was introduced to our participating members and commended their contributions to advancing sustainable, high-quality construction standards in Malaysia.
