BMCC at Gateway to ASEAN: UK-Malaysia Corridor Business Insight Forum
The BMCC had the opportunity to support the Gateway to ASEAN: UK–Malaysia Corridor Business Insight Forum by HSBC on 27 October 2025, held alongside the ASEAN Summit.
Our Interim Executive Director, Loh Wei Yuen, moderated the session themed “Why Malaysia, Why Now,” which explored Malaysia’s strategic position as a hub for trade and investment in the region. The discussion featured valuable insights from Mohd Riduan Abd Rahman, Executive Director of Investment Facilitation at MIDA, and Danesh Jothiprahasam, Head of New Investment, Digital Investments Department, Industry & Ecosystem Division at MDEC. Together, they shared perspectives on strengthening bilateral collaboration and enhancing the UK-Malaysia business corridor for future growth.
