BMCC 2nd Education Committee Meeting of 2026

The BMCC’s Education Committee recently convened its 2nd meeting at Epsom College Malaysia, bringing together members for a productive discussion on advancing education collaboration and excellence within the sector.

The meeting was led by Committee Chair Dr. Glenn Moodie, Principal of Kolej Tuanku Ja’afar. Key discussions included updates from the British High Commission and members exchanged perspectives on relevant government policies impacting the education landscape as well as the QTS Discussion with the Ministry of Education of Malaysia.

We also took the opportunity to explore internship opportunities for students to better bridge education and industry; and the benefits of supporting the upcoming BMCC UK-MY Education Guide to showcase quality and innovation across institutions.

The meeting also explored potential collaboration opportunities between the BMCC and K-12 member schools, reinforcing a shared commitment to fostering stronger partnerships and meaningful outcomes for students and the wider education ecosystem.

We take this opportunity to thank our outgoing Deputy Chair Nicholas Paul Belcher, Principal of The International School @ ParkCity for his leadership and support to the Committee and wish him the best in his future endeavours.
