More than 50 rugby-enthusiastic students got a taste of what it takes to be a professional rugby player as they enjoyed an thrilling Rugby Coaching Clinic led by three rugby legends from England, Ireland, and New Zealand.
Hosted at The Alice Smith School Kuala Lumpur for the second time round, and held in conjunction with KL Saracens, SM Sains Selangor, Victoria Institution, Cobra RC and KL Tigers, the Clinic is part of the Annual Charity Rugby Dinner Event organised by the British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (BMCC).
The juniors, ranging from ages 6 to 13, were given a masterclass on tackling and passing under the trained eyes of Fergus Slattery, Peter Winterbottom and Justin Marshall. And while the juniors took it all rather seriously, there were plenty of laughters to be shared as well. Massive cheer and thanks to the Alice Smith School for being the Rugby Coaching Clinic Venue Sponsor once again, and for its overall support to the BMCC’s Dinner.
