AmanahRaya-Kenedix REIT Manager Launches Mural and Unveils Malaysia’s Largest Harimau Malaya Canvas to Support Tiger Conservation

AmanahRaya-Kenedix REIT Manager, Amanah Raya Berhad, and the tenants of Vista Tower, in partnership with the Persatuan Pelindung Harimau Malaysia (RIMAU), collaborated on an inspiring mural project to raise awareness for the conservation of the Harimau Malaya.

This initiative, launched on 30 March 2024, it is part of the “Harimau Malaya Conservation” campaign, underscoring AmanahRaya-Kenedix’s commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. The campaign’s objective is to increase public understanding of the critical need to protect the Harimau Malaya (Panthera Tigris Jacksoni).

On 27 August 2024, Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Sultan Perak Darul Ridzuan Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah Al-Maghfur-Lah unveiled the completed ‘Malaysia’s largest Harimau Malaya’ canvas painting at Vista Tower, Kuala Lumpur. The event was attended by key figures, including Tan Sri Idrus Harun, Chairman of AmanahRaya Berhad, Datuk Mohd Radzif Mohd Yunus, Independent Non-Executive Director of AmanahRaya Berhad, Encik Ahmad Feizal Sulaiman Khan, Group Managing Director of AmanahRaya Berhad, and YM Tunku Rozita Tunku Abdul Malek, Managing Director of AmanahRaya-Kenedix REIT Manager.

The largest mural was created by renowned artist Lina Ali, covers 23 square meters and displayed across 16 canvases at Vista Tower in Kuala Lumpur. It aims to raise public awareness of the endangered Harimau Malaya, a species at risk of extinction. This initiative is a testament to how businesses can leverage creative partnerships to drive positive social and environmental change while engaging the community in sustainability efforts.
