The proposed adoption of a new constitution for the BMCC is made, amongst others, with the following main objectives in mind:

To adhere to the new requirements of the Registrar of Societies in various areas such as the defined roles of the Chairman and Deputy Chairman, the establishment of Trustees to hold all immovable properties and investments of BMCC, including the establishment of independent Disciplinary Panel to investigate any complaints or allegations concerning misconduct of Members.

To establish new categories of membership, with minimum fee requirements, in line with the changing market conditions; and to further define the procedures for the election and/or re-election of Directors.
